WordPress blogging
Wow, after finding out that folks have found my blog already, I decided that perhaps the upgrade to WordPress was necessary, especially since there is a security issue with the old version. I had hesitated at first, only because I’ve had so much trouble installing WordPress in the first place. But now that folks have found me, I moved the upgrade to the front burner. I knew, just KNEW that it wasn’t going to go smoothly, that all hell would break loose and I’d lose what comments and posts and plugins and widgets and etc., that I had. I just knew that I was going to get frustrated and pitch the whole thing AGAIN in the trash can… I expected trouble because when I went to the WordPress support forum, there was nothing but post after post of various problems people had trying to do the upgrade. So, I expected the worst. But guess what?!?! It was as easy an upgrade as I’ve ever made to any program! I simply followed the extended upgrade documentation and voila! Here we are. *doing a happy dance over here* This puts me in a FANTASTIC mood, so, I’m going to give away something fr.ee right now. The Social Marketing Directory for 2008 is an incredibly valuable resource for Internet Marketers. I’ll do a review on it soon. But for now, check the link below.
